Some internet security settings are very strict, and don’t allow new windows to pop up from your e-mail. While these settings protect you from pop-up ads and junk mail, they also can restrict legitimate e-mail. This is probably what is happening when the links in your e-mail appear “dead”.
You can over-ride this security setting by holding the CTRL key while clicking on the link. With most internet security, this will allow you to access the link. |
