Our Processing Department typically processes subscription renewals about 6 weeks in advance of the expiration date. For example, if your subscription is going to expire in 5/1/2010, we will contact you between 3/1/2010 -3/12/2010. This will give our renewal department approximately two weeks to contact all of our subscribers before the subscriptions are extended.
Let me explain why we need to process the subscriptions so far in advance. First of all, we need to know how many magazines we need to print. Once we know our print quantities then we will start printing (which is a timely process.) Finally after we print the magazine we ship them to our warehouse, which in return turns around and ships them individually to our customers. As you can tell this is a very time consuming process. If you were to wait until after your expiration date lapses to re-order, you will probably miss two issues. |
