Cloth Napkins – Cute, Easy and Eco-conscious!

We crafters are constantly on the lookout for easy and fast handmade gifts. With all the fall weddings quickly approaching I am turning to one of my favorite “go-to” gifts: a set of handmade cloth napkins. Not only are they eco-conscious, but they are also super cute and trendy, can match whatever kitchen they need to, and are a snap to make!

I live by one simple motto that my father taught me: never stifle creativity. Whether in my own personal crafting life or in my 2 year old daughter's life this is how we live. We create. We let imagination run wild. No idea is too big, too crazy, or too messy.

I am on the editorial staff for Simply Handmade magazine and I LOVE my job! I get to create almost daily because of this amazing magazine!

My life outside of work is made up of family, friends, spirituality, sewing, jewelry making, book binding, scrapping, all around creating, and hula hooping. And it is a good life.

Have you ever noticed that creativity is unstoppably contagious? Over and over we see people who are passionate about a craft (scrapbooking, sewing, card making, knitting), but don’t want to be limited to just one crafty endeavor. You dabble in crocheting, then add it to a handmade card. You learn a stamping technique, then stamp on fabric. You try out something new, just for the heck of it. We do that, too. It’s fun! It seems like creativity in one area begets creativity everywhere else.
