When ever I see Doodlebug goodies my mood is instantly elevated. I just can’t help but smile. Their current release is no exception. The new lines, Welcome Home and Bon Appetit, both feature comfy and cozy motifs – all done in the signature Doodlebug style.
Not surprisingly, my favorite embellishment is the new mini jewels collection.
Visit the Doodlebug site for a closer look at all the new lines, including their fun Halloween and Christmas lines. Doodlebug can also be found on Facebook! Leave a comment on this post for a chance to win a Doodlebug prize package. Winner will be announced Friday.

I have started to see baker’s twine everywhere, and have found myself obsessing over the cute little string. Traditionally, it comes in a red and white combination, but as you will see it is now available in a wide variety of colors. Swoon! As I was purusing the CARDS August 2010 issue, I noticed quite a few cards using baker’s twine. Let’s check out a few!
This first one is by Brenda Weaver. Doesn’t the red twine just pop on this card? Adorable!
