I’m currently in love with spiral notebook dies and punches, and I’m seeing them everywhere! Check out these four cards I “spotted” recently:
01. I’m loving the way Jennifer used the spiral punch to add a distressed feel to her card. This would be perfect for a “Greet-the-Teacher” card, don’t you think?
02. Maile wowed me with her stunning simplicity. The spiral notebook die adds just the right amount of interest.
03. I love the way Tiffany combines the very graphic card base with distressing elements, like the spiral notebook punch and inking. It makes for a very interesting and fun card.
04. Ashley‘s card is a stunner. The notebook punch really makes this card stand out. I love how the mostly monochromatic card enhances the colorful hot air balloons!
As the summer draws to an end, we’ve been busily shopping for my kids’ school supplies. I love purchasing crayons, pencils, paper, and folders just as much as my two children love getting them. As I was purusing the CARDS August 2010 issue, I noticed quite a few cards using baker’s twine. Let’s check out a few!
This first one is by Brenda Weaver. Doesn’t the red twine just pop on this card? Adorable!
I’m changing things up a little for this week’s Blog Spotting with CARDS. Instead of cards, I’ve spotted six flower tutorials that would make beautiful embellishments on cards or scrapbook pages. Each is unique. I’m itching to break out my paper crafting supplies after spotting these six fabulous flowers!
