dividing line

I love this handmade clip idea spotted on Rachel Simonsen’s blog (fab designer at me and my BIG ideas) and immediately started thinking about all of the pretty bits and baubles that would lend themselves so well to this project. (Confession: I totally borrowed the title of this post from Rachel. Isn’t that just a wonderful phrase?)

Fire Mountain Gems & Beads has enough amazing offerings that you could spend an entire day looking for the perfect complement to your bobbies. Although I really love the single finish look shown in the inspiration photo (gold on gold, brass on brass), I think some Cloisonné beads would be gorgeous too!

I also love everything Vintaj has to offer. Any of their brass filigrees, pendants, and/or charms would lend an extra posh touch to your upcycle.

You can visit Rachel’s blog to see her end result and get inspired to start planning your own hair embellishments!

Wow! That up-do is striking, but very pretty! Probably not the best hairdo for flying, though… the TSA would be all over that! Lol!
