If you want to get crafty for Thanksgiving, here are some ideas to get you started.

Some gorgeous table items from Martha. (I love these gold pumpkins, and also #4 in the slideshow, the squirrels! Don’t miss the free download there.)

She also has some fun stuff for the kids, like these Finger-Puppet Favors.

You can buy the pdf and print these Vintage Thanksgiving tags from Xander Graphic.

A whole lot of free kid-themed Thanksgiving printables here, from coloring pages to decorations, and more.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Some inspiring Thanksgiving memories/traditions here.

ACTUAL FOOD: This cranberry-clementine relish sounds delish.

And lastly, this fantastic handmade find from Etsy, felt turkey with stuffing, all set to come out of the play oven. Looks like she’s in Orem, UT, so if you’re local, maybe you could arrange a pick up and get it in time for some Thanksgiving play time with the cousins.

In middle school, I just thought I was being nerdy when I looked for typos on Spirit Week signage – little did I know I was training for a future career in editing. Now a mother of two young children, my days are full of crafting, writing, and activities that amuse the pre-K crowd. I can't get enough vintage typography and poster design, and never met a fabric store I didn't like.
