dividing line

The 4th of July has passed, but patriotism lasts all year round. With that in mind, we want to remind all you fabulous readers about our Cards for Troops program. You send us blank handmade or purchased cards of any type — along with envelopes — and we mail them on to military men and women overseas (see info below). They can then write in the cards and send them back to their loved ones at home.

We have been collecting these Cards for Troops for awhile now, and it’s still going strong! Your cards have been really appreciated — here is a service woman looking through some of the cards that arrived at her base.

So if you’re feeling the desire to use your creativity to help our troops with this need, send us your cards! Get a group together and set a goal to make 10-15 each. Or do it on your own, creative lady. Don’t forget, the cards don’t need to be elaborate. We need cards for all occasions, and it’s not too early to include holiday cards. Here are some possible topics:

Happy Birthday  •  Thinking of You  •  I Love You  •  Halloween  •  Thanksgiving  •  Christmas

Guidelines:

  • Cards are ALWAYS welcome, anytime.
  • Cards should be blank inside.
  • Include an envelope for the card to be mailed back in.
  • Send your cards to our offices:

Attn: Cards for Troops
563 East 770 North
Orem, Utah 84057

If you have any questions, please email support at northridgemedia dot net. Every card helps! Thank you for your support.

Are you still organizing this program? This old post is the only one on the topic I was able to find.
