Incredible cards, right? Thank you so much, as always, for playing along! So for the next challenge, before we delve into Valentine cards for a few weeks, let’s take a week to feature cards that use squares. Whether they’re made from punches, die cut, stitched, or your very own hand and scissors, squares are a great repeating element to use on a card. Here are some great cards that were published in the January 2010 of CARDS to get your ideas flowing:

Thank You by Ashley Cannon Newell

Thanks by Julie Campbell

Let’s Run & Play by Mindy Miller

Please email your cards with squares to paiget@scrapbooktrendsmag.com by next Friday morning, January 29th, and I’ll have another challenge post in the early afternoon! Until next time, stay warm, dry, and keep on scrappin! Oh, and if you’re CHA this week and you see me wandering around, say hello!

I've been scrapbooking since I was 16 years old and love the hobby more each day! I enjoy making things by hand - from cards and layouts to books and baskets. My day is not complete unless I've made something. I'm the Copy Editor for the Northridge magazines and love all the inspiration I get from seeing everyone's creations. On a more personal note, we're expecting our first baby, a boy, in October and we couldn't be more thrilled!

Its amazing to me how many ways you could go about investing your money. I’ve found for me that best solution is both risky and low risk stocks. I normally put about 1/2 my investments into low risk mutual funds that grow over time and the other half in high risk high gain stocks. I recently got into day trading and I discovered that software stock picks are more reliable as they can automate a process that I cant do quickly enough. The guys over at stockmarketsoftwareblog.com have a fantastic system. You should check them out!
